With the withdrawal of John Edwards from the campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, along with the earlier withdrawal of Dennis Kucinich, Progressives and Communitarians across the nation are likely to transfer their support to Senator Obama and rally to help him win the nomination, and ultimately, the presidency. Obama is in a close struggle with Clinton for the nomination and the upcoming Super Tuesday Primaries and Caucuses in 22 states will go a long way in making that determination. This writer has yet to determine who will get his support with the withdrawal of Edwards and Kucinich, but logic and reason would say that it would have to go to Obama, probably after further clarification of policy direction aspirations are made more clear.
