The pace of advancing technology is ever quickening, and this report affirms that. It is not hard to believe artificial intelligence within android like robotics being a common place occurrence within a generation. The changes that will take place in our society and elsewhere will be nothing short of profound as most employment that requires little intelligence, creativity, and technical skills will be done by robots, eliminating the drudgery of this kind of work by human beings. Of course, a change of this magnitude will have repercussions throughout society, and it will be an enormous challenge to find meaningful productive work for perhaps as many as 100 million Americans within 30 years.
