BLM Lands Set Aside in Conservation

Most know of federal lands being held in conservation or historical preservation under administration of the Interior Department or Agriculture Department, but not as well known are the lands under BLM supervision. It appears additional lands are being proposed for addition to the National Landscape Conservation System (NLCS), particularly in Arizona. Disappointingly, no lands in Wyoming and Montana are currently protected.
