The Fallacy of Free Trade

A recently published book provides an enormous amount of evidence and research on the tremendous costs the pursuit of free trade has had on the American middle class. Admittably, foreign policy is important, but a significant redirection of American domestic economic policy is critical in preserving what is left of the American Dream and Ideals which have been largely lost in the last 28 years. The balance in American life and fairness itself has been obliterated by Federal policy thrusts towards free trade with most other nations that is basically economically unjust. This trade policy, along with a grossly unjust federal tax policy which incredibly favors the wealthy and corporations, as well as out of control federal deficit spending, is at the heart of the ongoing quickening demise of America. The author will be on CSPAN2 and its Book TV program the next few weekends.
