Bank # 14 Goes Down

Fourteen down, about 100 more to go in 2009. So far only a handful of states have seen banks within them fail, among them AZ, CA, FL, IL, and OR. Expect the number of states beset by this to expand in the coming months. Officially 171 banks were in some form of trouble last September 30. By now that number has more surely grown to somewhere between 350 and 500 at least.
