True Unemployment Reaches at Least 15.4 %

Media reports on Friday 6 November reported January unemployment at a rate of 7.6 %. Of course this is a politically created statistic to make things looks better than they really are. The true actual number is over 15 %, and is in actuality probably around 18 to 19 %.

It appears monthly increases in the unemployment rate will around .4 or .5 of a percentage point if trends continue. That would project the June '09 unemployment rate to around 9.6 to over 10 %, and the real actual rate to in excess of 21 % !
