Two more states had citizen participation over the last weekend in the ongoing process to nominate presidential candidates for both parties: Nevada and South Carolina. The Nevada results are a little strange with Romney winning by such a wide margin and Obama getting more delegates than Clinton even though she was the winner. McCain scored an important victory in the Palmetto State and may have dealt the final deadly blow to Fred Thompson.Next week is the Florida primary where Giuliani is placing all his hopes on. It is likely to be a tight four man race and no clear winner will likely emerge after 29 January on the GOP side. I would think Clinton will win over Obama by about ten percentage points in Florida. But the Clinton political machine is still not yet assured of winning the big banana.
