Information is slowly emerging on a growing case of corruption and legal impropriety by Republican New Mexico congresswomen Heather Wilson. Wilson, a five term US Representative and currently seeking to fill the US Senate seat of retiring thirty-six year GOP stalwart Pete Domenici, is currently being investigated by the US Justice Department and the US House Ethics Committee for various violations and illegal activities largely related to the controversy over the dismissal of US Attorneys who were seen as being politically incompatible with the Bush Administration. Former New Mexico Governor Dave Cargo describes the incidents as basically being "vote buying". With the demise of the Albuquerque Tribune as the only investigative journalistic entity in the state, information is scarce on the developments as well the entire truth on this matter.
