Impact of West Antarctic Ice Sheet Collapse to be Worse than Originally Feared

This is an interesting news report. When the shelf collapse occurs is of increasing interest and concern as well. It was long believed that it would not happen for centuries. Now scientific speculation is the collapse could begin in a matter of years, perhaps even within a decade. Once the collapse starts, it will be interesting to see how fast the process takes. And once this process is underway, what will be immediate effects and consequences on the planet ?
