An American professor doing research in London stumbled across a series of previously unknown letters written by, to, and about Benjamin Franklin, a stunning find that sheds new light on early U.S. history.


The Two Californias

There is a marked difference in the California along the coast and the California that is inland. I don't think I would ever want to live in the coastal part as they are beyond radical on many issues. I know some individuals that would fit in perfectly there.


Bea Arthur, 1922 - 2009

She was an expert at her craft. I still remember her role in "All in the Family" back in the early 70s when she portrayed the perfect foil to Carroll O'Connor's Archie Bunker. Much like Larry Linville as Frank Burns in MASH, her characters were not beloved but simply brilliant and cleverly comedic.
