Its Either Coal Gets Phased Out Or We Get to Have Amazing Climate Change

The dirty ugly truth...

A Real Health Problem

http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/04/21/silent.heart.attacks/index.html

It is not impossible I may have already at least one of these and not been truly aware of it, most recently a about five weeks ago when I carried about 20 bags of groceries up the flight of stairs to my unit which really wiped me out.

Four Corners Measurement Blunder

http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_12187564

I went there in 1976, and it now seems like I will have to make a return visit because of government blunders. And naturally it includes New Mexico. It turns out the erroneous measurement is not as far off as this article reports.

Great Educational and Informative Program

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/2009-04-20-baby-mammoth_N.htm

This sounds as if it would be a very interesting program to watch.

Astronomical Discovery

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/space/2009-04-21-earth-sized-planet_N.htm

There are likely millions of such bodies in the universe, as the vastness of space is inponderable.

Not the Answer

http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/environment/2009-04-20-plastic-bags-recyclable_N.htm

This is no answer. "Plastic" bags made from 100 % recycled materials is the right solution, but a better solution is reusable bags, not throw-away ones.

A Face Only a Mother Could Love, But Then There is the Twittering Celebritydom

http://www.usatoday.com/life/columnist/pettalk/2009-04-21-romeo-cat-twitter_N.htm

This week's new celebrity, Romeo the Cat ! I think my youngest sister L's curmudgeon could give him a run for the money if publicized.

Frances Perkins, the Conscience of The New Deal

http://www.usatoday.com/life/books/reviews/2009-04-20-frances-perkins-bio_N.htm

Is there any doubt the US would be better off if a woman was president and most of her important advisors were the same ?

It Used to be the Other Way Around

http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/2009-04-20-TVLand_N.htm

I predict all the shows mentioned in this article will have big screen movie sequels made by 2015 and probably sooner. There is a lot of money to be made from films based on these popular TV series.

Star Trek: A Review of the New Film Coming Soon

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/reviews/article-1172164/Out-world-The-Mails-film-critic-gives-verdict-new-Star-Trek-movie.html

A very positive review for the upcoming new Star Trek movie, which comes out in just about two weeks, believe it or not.....

Coming Important New Inventions

http://tech.msn.com/products/slideshow.aspx?cp-documentid=18821223&gt1=40000

Advancements to get excited about, and in some cases, be very grateful for... One of the greatest advancements would be a cure or prevention of cancer. There are some indications that may be realized within the next decade to two, but it may not cover all cancers that affect all organs in such a window.

Needed Improvements (According to Fast Company.com)

http://tech.msn.com/products/slideshow.aspx?cp-documentid=19084293&gt1=40000

An improvement for the hammer is already here, but the remote control has much that needs to be improved. I also understand a new advanced version of shopping carts is about here, but airport security is hopeless and will be for years. I hope to see a voice activated remote control on the market soon, one that is able to interact with an audio or video device as well as today's finger activated units.
